5. Unashamed in our World

Matthew 28:16-20

Today, Vision Launch Sunday 2015, we'll learn what it means to make disciples of all nations and how God wants us to do this. In doing so, what does that look like for me, for you, and for our church? Let's learn together from Matthew 28.

Matthew 28:16-20

Today is the finale of our Unashamed of the Gospel series. I hope you have been challenged to be unashamed in sharing the Gospel with your family, your neighbors, in the workplace, and in our church. But there is one more challenge I'd like to present to you. Let's Be Unashamed of sharing the gospel in our world. What does that mean for us? To get a better of understanding of this we'll look at Matthew 28:16-20. Some call this The Great Commission. It's a command for all believers to share the gospel and make disciples of all the nations. It's our mission!

Today, Vision Launch Sunday 2015, we'll learn what it means to make disciples of all nations and how God wants us to do this. In doing so, what does that look like for me, for you, and for our church? Let's learn together from Matthew 28.

4. Unashamed in Our Church

2 Timothy 4:1-5

Have you taken any opportunities to share the Gospel with your own family, your neighbors, and your co-workers? The opportunities are all around us. The question is...am I making the best use of the opportunities God has given me? Our ultimate goal...

2 Timothy 4:1-5

How are you doing with the challenge to be Unashamed of the Gospel? Have you taken any opportunities to share the Gospel with your own family, your neighbors, and your co-workers? The opportunities are all around us. The question is...am I making the best use of the opportunities God has given me? It's never too late to share the good news of the Gospel. If you haven't yet done so may I encourage you to start today, start this week.

Our ultimate goal is to bring honor to the Lord Jesus Christ. One way we honor the Lord Jesus Christ is by being ready and willing to share the Gospel wherever we are and whoever we are with.  Today we will look at 2 Timothy 4:1-5 and see what it means to be Unashamed of the Gospel in our Church.

3. Unashamed in Our Workplace

Acts 4:23-33

Today, in Acts 4:23-33, we’re going to be challenged to Be Unashamed of the Gospel in our Work Place. The believers in Acts 4 were being persecuted for their faith. However, that did not stop them from being unashamed of the Gospel. They were faithful and bold in their witness for Christ...

Acts 4:23-33

Over the past two weeks God has been moving His people here at CrossBridge to Be Unashamed of the Gospel. Several have shared their testimonies of how they boldly shared the Gospel with their family and their neighbors. Praise God for those who are being obedient to God’s command. Last week we saw how Philip, in Acts 8, was obedient to take the gospel to the Ethiopian without any hesitation.

We were challenged to invite a neighbor into our home with the specific purpose of sharing the gospel with them. We were challenged to be prepared when the opportunity presents itself to share the Gospel. I hope you had the opportunity to share Christ with someone this past week.

Today, in Acts 4:23-33, we’re going to be challenged to Be Unashamed of the Gospel in our Work Place. The believers in Acts 4 were being persecuted for their faith. However, that did not stop them from being unashamed of the Gospel. They were faithful and bold in their witness for Christ. We hear time and again that "religion" has no place in the workplace. So then, what is the believer to do? The question is...how can I Be Unashamed of the Gospel in my work place?

2. Unashamed in Our Neighborhood

Acts 8:26-35

Unashamed of the Gospel is our theme for 2015.  Last week we looked at the early church in Acts 2 and saw that they had devoted themselves to the apostles teaching. I hope you spent some time this past week with your families devoted to the teaching of God's Word...

Acts 8:26-35

Unashamed of the Gospel is our theme for 2015.  Last week we looked at the early church in Acts 2 and saw that they had devoted themselves to the apostles teaching. I hope you spent some time this past week with your families devoted to the teaching of God's Word.  We were all encouraged to share the gospel with someone, not only this week but every week. We can do this by talking about Jesus Christ with others or sharing a gospel tract with people God places in our paths. If you haven't done so I hope you'll make a commitment to start today.

This week we'll be studying together in Acts 8:26-35, looking at Philip who was commanded to go and share the gospel with his neighbor.

1. Unashamed in Our Home

Acts 2:42-45

With the New Year just days away, we want to begin talking about Vision Launch 2015.

After much prayer and consideration, we have chosen the theme “Unashamed of the Gospel”. We want to consider the task of evangelism and how we can encourage each other...

Acts 2:42-45

With the New Year just days away, we want to begin talking about Vision Launch 2015.

After much prayer and consideration, we have chosen the theme Unashamed of the Gospel”. We want to consider the task of evangelism and how we can encourage each other in it. Every message will be aimed toward this end.

There are five areas that we believe to be important. We should be Unashamed of the Gospel in Our own Home, in Our Neighborhood, in Our Workplace, in Our Church, and in Our World.  We are brothers and sisters in Christ united in one great cause—to stand for the Gospel of Christ. Let us consider what God has challenged us to do in Acts 2:42-45.
