DISCIPLESHIP KIDS

DiscipleShip Kids

Welcome to Discipleship Kids at Crossbridge Church

We are so thankful your family has chosen to participate in the Discipleship Kids program.

At Discipleship Kids, our goal is to partner with parents to make Gospel disciples. One of the primary ways we partner with families is through weekly classes for kids.

All of our Discipleship Kids classes use the Answers Bible Curriculum for Children. With Answers Bible Curriculum, teachers and students of all ages enjoy diving into rich content, memorizing Scripture, and learning how to apply the Bible to their daily lives. Answers Bible Curriculum goes through the entire Bible in the order the events actually happened, helping it make sense. From Toddlers to Adults, Answers Bible Curriculum allows the whole family to learn and grow together. Answers Bible Curriculum is filled with Scripture and encourages believers in their faith, equipping them with answers for a skeptical world.

Our teachers are committed to sharing biblical truth with your child each week in a loving and secure environment. Our hope is to see the lessons taught on Sunday be the beginning of a week of growth and study of God’s Word as a family.

Please let us know if we can support or encourage you in any way.

The Mission of DiscipleShip Kids Ministry

dkids 1.jpg

We desire to see the hearts of kids transformed in response to the Gospel and for kids to grow in their desire to love, honor, and obey God.

John 3:16 – “For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 – “For you are saved by grace through faith and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift – not from works, so that no one can boast.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!”

Matthew 22:37-39 – “He said to him, Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important command. The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.

We desire to see the character of kids guided by the knowledge and application of God’s Word and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 – “All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

2 Peter 1:3 – “His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”

Hebrews 4:12 – “For the word of God is living and effective and sharper than any double-edged sword, penetrating as far as the separation of soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

We desire to the lives of kids committed to the Great Commission as they share the Gospel and shine His light to the world around them.

Matthew 28:19-20 – “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 5:16 – “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”
