7. Mercy and Fear that Motivates
Luke 1:57-66
One of the most powerful encouragements that God gives to us in His word is the privilege to see His working in the lives of others. As we see His plan unfold we should be in awe of His mercy and amazed by His power. In today’s text we get to see the fulfillment of a promise given to Zechariah and Elizabeth.
This fulfillment shouldn’t just amaze us, but it should also invigorate and motivate us to live each day in a way that shows our love for God and point others to Him. My prayer for you today is that you would have a renewed passion to live for God and that your love for Him would grow as you see the mercy of God continue to unfold.
