2. The Promise of a Savior
Isaiah 59:1-21
In our continuing Advent series we’re going to look at Isaiah chapter 59. We can see that Israel is in one of its darkest moments in its history. We read that Israel, and all of mankind, is on a spiraling path of destruction in a vacuum of hopelessness. However, even in the darkest of hours there is Hope. Their hope was found in “The Promise of a Savior”. A Redeemer who was coming to redeem mankind from the power and penalty of sin.
Perhaps you find yourself in a desperate situation today. You feel like you’re surrounded by darkness and have no hope. The Word of God tells us there is hope, and His name is Jesus. He is our promised Savior. Let’s look together at Isaiah 59.
